Braising Recipes
Broadly speaking, "braising" just means that something is cooked using a combination of dry heat (searing, sauteing, frying, etc) and wet heat (simmering). We often associate braises with all-day projects and tough cuts of meat, but it's a versatile technique that can be used to build tons of flavor for any number of dishes. Try a super-quick braised and shredded chipotle chicken for weeknight tacos, or hearty tomato-braised green beans and potatoes for a crisp fall evening.
